Now you can easily navigate between synchronized views with a click of a button, and rearrange views and toolbars by simply dragging and dropping them where you want them to be. Don't worry, all of the functionality you know and love is still there: sequence map creation, primer design, virtual cloning, and all the rest, but it's easier and more intuitive to use! The most obvious change is a new state-of-the-art look and feel that is consistent with many other Lasergene applications. SeqBuilder has morphed into a much more intuitive and streamlined application we're calling SeqBuilder Pro. This release also includes significant enhancements to our Structural Biology and Genomics suites.įor our Lasergene Molecular Biology Suite customers, this is huge. Enjoy all of the functionality you know and love, but with a more intuitive and streamlined design. In fact, the revamp was major enough that we felt it needed a new name - SeqBuilder Pro. This release is very exciting for us, in part because it includes a complete overhaul of SeqBuilder, the foundation of our Molecular Biology Suite.
LASERGENE SOFTWARE UPGRADE
We are pleased to announce the release of Lasergene 15, a major upgrade to the DNASTAR Lasergene Suite. Whether your work focuses on next-gen sequencing assembly and analysis, clinical research, or traditional sequence analysis, the DNASTAR Lasergene package will meet your research needs, and is available on both the desktop computer as well as the DNASTAR Cloud. Users can access Lasergene off campus by using the following two methods: logging in to the VPN, DNASTAR Lasergene package is the most robust of our software offerings, and includes all of the applications from our genomics, molecular biology, and structural biology suites. When prompted, select “Network” for License Type and use the provided server address to authenticate the download. When DNASTAR Lasergene Authorization prompt pops up, choose the applications you wish to authorize and click next. Choose “silent install’ to keep prompts to a minimum.
LASERGENE SOFTWARE FOR MAC
Array Star and QSeq are available only on the Windows platform (available for Mac when running a Windows 7 parallel desktop).Most DNASTAR Lasergene products are available for both Windows (Windows XP, Vista, or 7) and Mac (OS 10.6 or later).
Additionally, Seqman Ngen, Arraystar and Qseq are licensed for use by Emory researchers.
LASERGENE SOFTWARE FULL
The Lasergene Core Suite includes full access to SeqBuilder, SeqMan Pro, MegAlign, MegaAlign Pro, GeneQuest, Protean Protean 3D, SeqNinja, Genvision, Primer Select and EditSeq.
DNASTAR Lasergene is licensed by the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library and is now offered at no cost to the Emory Research Community.
